| My Story | Mary spent years living across from a bustling cat colony in Grays Ferry. She adored people from afar, but she was a cautious feline—she only crossed the street when the colony cats weren’t around, happily nibbling on whatever leftovers she could find. The kind colony feeders made sure she never went hungry, and over time she became a familiar little face on the block. After many seasons outdoors, a Spay and Save volunteer brought Mary inside. With patience, quiet reassurance, and plenty of soft places to rest, Mary slowly began to trust. Today she has blossomed into a gentle, reserved companion who enjoys the simple comforts of indoor life. Mary’s Preferences & Personality A true connoisseur, she favors Meow Mix and Acana dry food, plus Friskies Chicken & Tuna Filets. She enjoys soft head pets and calm company. Dogs are not her cup of tea. She lives peacefully with other cats but prefers her own space. About 80% of her day is spent lounging on a cozy bed in her foster parent’s bedroom; the rest is devoted to meals, litter box visits, and quiet window watching. Mary is a senior sweetheart who would thrive with a senior guardian who appreciates a calm, low‑key companion.
