My Story

Georgina aka Georgi and her siblings were found by a rescuer when they were just a few weeks old. They quickly warmed up to human interaction and started purring like some of the finest motors you will ever hear. All of the kittens are laid back and love to cuddle. Georgi is a typical playful kitten but she likes to hide behind her brother sometimes. She isn’t as outgoing as her brothers when it comes to kitty shenanigans but she is just as loving. She enjoys eating both wet and dry food.
We really hope that Georgie doesn’t become victim of the black kitten stigma. If you aren’t familiar with the stigma, here is a little lesson:
**The "black kitten stigma" (often called Black Cat Syndrome) is the tendency for black felines to be passed over for adoption at higher rates than lighter-colored cats.
This bias is driven by lingering historical superstitions, fear of malicious harm around Halloween, and the fact that they are simply harder to photograph.**
